|The South Marysburgh Mirror 3) ee Supper in Milford a Great Success Main Street, Milford, was the scene Tuesday, Aug. 21, for the 2nd Harvestin' supper. Tables were set up from Jane and Rae Hicks store to Minaker's garage, with Chris Currah catering and slicing generously the roast beef. His mother and many more volunteers were helping to serve. - Photo by Karen Smith The food and even the water was County grown. It was fun eating outdoors and meeting old friends, and suc- cessful... .almost three times as many people as the first year dinner in Bloomfield. There were several kiosks pre- sent such as Honey Pie and Barry Matthie's plants. The Gingerbread House had people streaming in for cookies and fudge while Bill Ostrander was entertaining out back at the beer and wine garden. _ All in all a great success and a credit to all of the organizers and participants.
