It was a very nice day. There was Quar- tely meeting in the Carman Church. Nov. 2 Jake had the thrashing machine. Paw and I were helping him. we are having lovely weather. Nov. 3 I helped William Hinaman thrash till Two oclock. then the machine moved to Wilht Palmateer and I helped Wilht the remainder of the day. Paw ploughed for Jake. Nov. 4 Paw where ploughing for Jake. I helped Wilhet Palmateer finish thrashing. Then come home. Picked a sew apples, sawed some wood, feed the Hogs and set a shoe on a coalt. It has been a very cloudy day. Rained a little this after noon. Nov. 5 It rained most of the Fore Noon. In the After noon I went down to plough for Jake. It was a very rough night the wind blew very hard. Nov. 6 It rained and the wind blew a gale. Jake come up we fixed up some stansions for the cows to the barn. Nov. 7 I took some cider apples to get ground. The roads were very muddy. Nov. 8 Sunday. I was down to the Union to Meeting. Ida and Dan Jake and Lib, Nelse and Annie Maud were here visiting. Nov. 9 Paw and I went down to Jake to clean up the Buck Wheat. I fetched 54 bushels up home and Jake had left 118 bushels it fell short 28 bus. There fore we had by ma- chine measure 50 bus but by fall short 28 bus on 200 bus it would leave us 48 bus out of 50 and Jake 129 bus out of 150 bus. Nov. 10 I started to plough the remainder of the sod field on the flats where we sowed wheat. Jake come up helped plough in the after noon. Nov. 11 We are having quite rough weather and very high winds. Ithas rained all day to day. Nov. 12 Jake come up we ploughed on the flats in the first field. After noon Jake took his team and Dan come up and they picked stone off from it. Nov. 13 Jake and I ploughed down on the Flats. It snowed a little all the fore noon which made it quite wet and disagreeable. Nov. 14 I went over to Picton with Dan Palmateer. Jake come up to plough but it froze so hard last night that he could not plough. Nov. 15 Sunday. I went down to Dan's after dinner went down to the Union to meeting. Nov. 16 Jake come up in the aftemoon and we finished ploughing the first field on the Flats. Paw and Maw gath- ered the Garden. It has been a lovely day. It has been very warm. Nov. 17 I ploughed the garden. Archie went to Bloom- field with John Loney. Nov. 18 I was ploughing in the Young orchard. Dan and Ida was up. Dan was pointing up the chimney on the house. Nov. 19 I finished ploughing the Young orchard. It has been anice day. Archie thrashed the beans. there was 9 bus. Nov. 20 Paw and Maw, Archie went over to Picton. Paw got Suit of close price $6.00 and a pair of Boots for every day use. Archie got a over coat price $6.50 a pair of Fine Boots $22.50 and a pair of coarse long boots $2.50. Nov. 21 It snowed and rained all day. Paw and I fixed some stantions in the barn for the calves. Nov. 22 Sunday Annie Maud and Nelse were out. It was anice cay the roads were very muddy. Nov. 23 It was a very nice day. But the roads were quite muddy. Nov. 24 I was quite sick with a sore throat. Paw went over to Picton stayed all night to Mr. Lighthall's Nov. 25 It rained all day which made the roads very mus- sey. Nov. 26 We killed two pigs one weighed 150 lbs the oth- er weighted 168 lbs. Nov. 27 Paw and I plastered the bedroom over the kitch- Nov. 28 Paw went over to Picton. Paw sold a pig to Missess Watforth 167lbs @Scts. Jake took 375lbs of buckwheat flour @190cts after cut. Archie took 1103lbs of barley up to the mill to get ground. Nov. 29 Sunday. Ida and Dan were up for a visit. Nov. 30 It has been a very nice day .
