[4 |, The South Marysburgh Mirror] BRUmm.... BRUmm.... Does the brummm of a motor cycle engine and time in the open air with friends appeal to you? You know, motor cyclists are among the safest drivers on the road due to the level of training they receive before ob- taining full license privileges. They are taught to read the road conditions well in advance, as well as obeying speed limits and road restrictions, and this makes for safer and more courteous driving. Here in the south end of The County there are a number of us who enjoy “biking,” and appreciate the fact that it is also an inexpensive way of moving from one place to another with ease. Motor cycling is fun, and we live in a wonderful area of scenic beauty which can best be seen and enjoyed when biking. Some of us who enjoy the pleasures of touring on our bikes would like to know if there might be interest in forming a Motor Cycle Touring Club in this area, probably centered in Milford. The aims of the group could be developed when those who are interested come together to share their thoughts. Half or full day outings to some of our beautiful scenic places would be on a possible list of “To Do’s.” We already know of two people who are planning a few days of touring in July, probably down east...details yet to be finalized. If being a member of an MC touring club is of in- terest to you, can we please ask you to contact Barbara McConnell by calling 613 471 1816, and a time and place will be arranged for those interested to meet and make some future plans. The biking season is just getting under- way. Don’t let this opportunity to have some interesting outings and friendship with your County biking neighbours slip past. sincerely 140, Milford MCTC Summer Camp - Cont'd from page I Our second offering is a chance to see the Toronto Blue Jays play the Kansas City Royals on Sunday August 27th.
