Scored a Decided Success Mr. Norman's special display of spring millinery proved u big drawing card last Thureday night when, despite unfavorable weuther, a capacity audience crowded the Burton avenue Methodist Church to see "The Minister's Wife's New Bonnet'. And they were well repaid. . Bright, catchy mu- sic combined with an abundance of mirth- provoking situations and dialogue afforded fn excellent opportunity for Mr. Norman's singers to display their ability, both mu- sical and dramatic. Throughout, the work was well done and fully merited the gener- ous praise it received. As a demonstra- tion of the milliner's fine art. it surely Was'awonder. The exhibits--whether those that jesembled a greater Yyroduction gar- den dr those that looked likes an exhibit from a poultry fatm--showed an originality and skill that must-have made the profes- sional milliners turn green with envy. There was great rivalry and sore heart-burn: | ings, but it all ended very happily and the minister's wife was crowned with a modest bonnet befitting her station, The chorus was well balanced and sung with much spirit and excellent expression, showing the careful training they had re- ceived under Mr. Norman's baton. Mrs Park proved a capable and sympathetic accompunixt e company is to be congrstuluted upon its punctuality, the opening number be- ing given to the minute on the time ad? vestized Not f little was added to the musical effectiveness of the production by the support rendered by the Barrie Orchestra composed of:--First Violins, Mrs. Ord, Mr. Harmer, Mr. Swartz; Second violin, Mr. W. . Salesmen and demonstrators are here from the factory. Come in and talk over your Refrigerator needs with them. So effective is the insulation of its walls that you could place the Barnet beside a hot stove and not in- crease consumption inside. To get low temperature, you, of course, use ice--but to keep it cold you must depend upon insulation. The better the walls of your refrigerator can shut out heat, the more ice you Save. The-Barnet has no less than eleven walls to keep the heat out and the cold in. Every ounce of ice is used up without waste to maintain low and uniform tempera- ture. Less than forty degrees Fahrenheit means perfect refrigeration. The Barnet maintains temperature as low as 36 degrees. To keep the food clean and wholesome, there must also be rapid circulation of pure, fresh, dry air over food and ice and there must be a Proper ventilating system to withdraw odors so that there can be no contamination through flavor of one food with another, "Bring less Ice; We have a new Refrigerator" Our patented syphon and ventilating system of circulation has proven itself over and over again to be the most effective possible method. THE Barnet Refrigerator It is the system used by some of the United States and Canadian Railroads, who, you may be sure, would select the very best. It is the system which enables the Barnet to preserve foods for long periods fresh, dry and sweet as the day they were put in--with leas| ice. salt, matches, cigars, butter and milk." your inspection. milk will not be tainted. It is made in twelve different sizes, in oak, natural birch or ash. HOW THE BARNET GUARDS HEALTH "Oh! If I only could know how my little ones get sick," exclaims the mother. "I choose their food with greatest care." But the doctor reminds her that choice is not everything. "The child's illness could be caused by nothing else but contaminated food," he says. And he advises her to get a first class Refrigerator. Germs thrive best at 80 to 98 degrees Fahrenheit. At 50 degrees rapid growth is checked at once. The temperature in the Barnet Refrigerator is maintained as low as 36 degrees! Surely the health of your precious children justifies such splendid protection against the ever prevalent danger of disease. Think of the doctor's bills you are sure to save. On Wednesday, Miss Milligan, one of the demonstrators, locked the following articles in the refrigerator :---"Turnips, cucumbers, chocolates, onions, fish, meat, Friday, at 3 p.m. it will be opened for We invite you to\see the outcome of this experiment.
