IBCRIME YOUTH ARRESTED AFTER BARRICADING INCIDENT TWO PEOPLE HAD MINOR INJURIES FROM THE INCIDENT Police and crisis negoti- ators talked a person out of a home in Kitchener they TURN YOUR had barricaded themselves in on Wednesday, July 5. und 9:45 a.m., Wa- terloo Regional Police were called to a home near Dini- son Crescent and Williams- burg Road for a report of a disturbance. A person had barricad- ed themselves in the home, but other occupants were able to leave the home. Police negotiated with the person, who was then arrested. Two people had minor physical injuries. A youth is charged with two counts of assault, as- sault with a weapon, pos- session of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mis- chief under $5,000 and two counts of uttering threats to cause death.
