Ambrose is also the show’s musi- cal director and while it keeps him busy, he’s having a great time. “Tt’s rewarding to work with the singers and band separately to get the sounds you want and then put them together and have it all blend,” said Ambrose. No stranger to theatre, Ambrose has been involved in music for 20 years and has been acting and singing for three. In addition to his role as music director for Eden United Church, Ambrose has directed “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown” and “Operetta Bravo.” He was produc- tion manager for a number of shows in Mississauga, including two productions by the Mississauga City Centre Opera Co., a semi-pro- fessional group. On stage, Ambrose has played supporting roles in a variety of shows including “Fiddler On The Roof,” “Anne of Green Gables,” “The Fantasticks,” and Globe’s “My Fair Lady,” and “South Pacific.” For Witvoet, the other half of the directing team, “Grease” is a new venture. Always interested in directing, Witvoet jumped at the chance to learn the ropes with this show. “IT love what I’m doing and David and I work well together. I’ve learned a lot from him in this show,” Witvoet said. Witvoet says he wouldn’t hesi- tate to direct again and would like ‘ to do a small drama, however, he does admit that he still loves being on stage and is envious of the cast because they’re having so much fun. A large part of that fun comes from tl choreography. Choreographer Evelyn Webster is no stranger to Globe.
