Ken Hamm, the former lead of the Bay Street Blues Band in Thunder Bay, is a great guitarist specializing in rural blues and bottleneck guitar. He's at home on either acoustic or electric guitar and plays a 1927 National Steel and an old Gibson J 200. Rodney Brown has been playing and developing his guitar style since he was 12. Also from Thunder Bay and a former member of the band Whiskey Jack, Brown is a powerful and creative singer/ songwriter and possesses a huge repertoire of songs. Both Brown and Hamm have performed across Canada at numerous coffeehouses, Folk Festivals and concerts. Ken has just completed a three month Western tour and released his album "Ken Hamm And Friends". As for Rodney, his album "Freedom In Me" is also available. So if you're interested in some country blues and a little folk music, Rod- ney Brown and Ken Hamm will be playing in the Schreiber Public School, Jan. 14. ~ Smith-Mikus Vows - continued from page 7 .eucees.
