PAGE -30 : 2 TERRACE BAY NEWS DECEMBER 20, 1978 'ROSSPORT WATER ASSOC. GENERAL MEETING Sunday December 10th a general meeting of the Rossport Water Association was held in the Community Hall. Felix Legault pre- sident, chaired the meeting and the secretary-treasurer Anne Todesco was in attendance. The purpose of the meeting was to acquaint the subscribers with the process made towards obtaining the deed of the water easement strip of land and applying for a grant to improve the waterline. 3 Dave Shantz P, Eng. the Environmental Officer and Frank Wright of the Ministry of the Environment were present to pre- sent their findings in their investigation of the project and to offer four alternatives regarding the improvement of the wat -er system - namely: 1. repair the existing system, flush out the reservoir at the dam and pipes, install a meter and chlor- ination equipment; 2. completely rebuild a similar system to the present system; 3. develop wells to supply the community; - 4, or supply water from Lake Superior.
