EAR SA. KINSMEN TO ATTEND FALL COUNCIL Four Kinsmen from the Kinsmen Club of Terrace Bay will be travelling over 1,000 miles on October 12th to attend the annual regional Fall Council conference of their District. This year's conference is being held in Swan River, Man. Over 400 will be attending to conduct regional business and exchange service ideas. A Kinsmen is Canada's Ail Canadian Service Club and is the only major service club founded in Canada. The Kinsmen Club of Terrace Bay is one of 600 such clubs in Canada dedicated to serving the community's greatest need. Jerry Allan, National Director from St. John's, Nfld. will also be in attendance at this Fall Council Meeting. - The local Kinsmen Club has been involved for four years in an active program to help serve the Terrace Bay community's greatest need. : On a National level, Kinsmen donated more than 43.6 million dollars in service work during their last fiscal year. Two of the objects of Kin are to train their members in modern business and professional methods and ethics, and to carry on service work in their community Young men between the ages of 21 to 40 desiring information on joining a Kins- men Club may contact John Mason at 825-3535. o//. RECREATION DEPT. J WEEKLY REPORT YOGA: A Yoga course sponsored by the Terrace Bay Recreation Department will begin October 2nd and will operate every Mon- day and Thursday evening for 7 weeks. Anyone wishing to regis- ter should phone the Recreation Office as soon as possible as there is a limit of 20 persons for this course.
