Jennifer Poole, of Terrace Bay, whose marriage to Larry Davis takes place on August 19, 1978, was honoured at a community shower arranged in St. John's Church Hall in Schreiber on August 9, 1978. Receiving with Jennifer were Linda Huard, her maid of honour, Mrs. Ruth Poole, mother and Mrs. Georgina Davis, her fiance's mother. The guest book was attended by Julie Welbourne and the gifts opened by Mrs. Jayne Davis and Miss Margo Davis. MR, & MRS. PERRAS CELEBRATE 25TH Camille and |sabel Perras were entertained August 5, on their 25th wedding anniversary by their family, relations and intimate friends. The event began with dinner at Adamo's restaurant in Terrace Bay, where the table was centred with the special cake. The group returned to the private room in the Schreiber Hotel where they were presented with a beautiful floral arrangement by the proprietors, Norman and Lynn Boon, personal friends. Robin Moore, brother-in-law, the M.C, presented a handsome set of siver goblets, a purse of money, many individual gifts, and read messages of congratulations from relatives and friends unable to attend the occasion - among these the Perras' two sons: Andre and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Perras of Calgary. Along with the 70 attending the party were their daughters, Denise (Mrs. Duncan McEwen) of Schreiber, and her husband; Paulette, Michelle and Melanie; sons - Victor, at home.
