WEEKLY REPORT SUMMER PROGRAMME: Any youth between the ages of 9 and 12 years who wishes to attend the camping trip to Neys Park on August 23rd, 24th and 25th is asked to please pick up a consent form at the Recrea- tion Office. Please note: All consent forms must be turned back into the Recreation Office before Monday, August 21st. Crafts for Youth will be conducted Wednesday nights from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. in the conference room at the Recreation Centre. SPORTS TRAVELCADE: The Ontario Sports Travelcade will be in Terrace Bay Septem- ! ber 9th, 10th and 11th and will be located at the Lake Superior Public School in Terrace Bay. The Travelcade will be open to the public from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. each day and is a worthwhile facility to visit. The Travelcade has books, pamphlets and films on all aspects of many different sports. In addition to . this, the Travelcade will operate a badminton clinic, ringette clinic and cycling clinic. Further details on the Travelcade will be in next week's News. GAMES ROOM: As of Wednesday, August 16th, the Games Room will be closed - for renovations for an undetermined length of time. CONFEDERATION COLLEGE COURSES: A list of Confederation College courses that are now set for Terrace Bay this coming fall and wirter has been received. Anyone interested at this point in finding out what courses will operate could phone the Recreation Office or drop in for this information. : NEW PROGRAMMES: Anyone having ideas on programmes they would like to see the Recreation Department operate in the fall are invited to call the Recreation Office at 3542 to discuss these programmes. y a TERRACE EAY LADIES GOLFING: August 13th was the Ladies Open at Terrace Bay. Thirty- five ladies from Marathon, Thunder Bay came and enjoyed them- selves and a lovely supper put on by the Terrace Bay ladies was enjoyed. Results were: Low Gross C. Lushney; Low Net M, Chesnick. "A" Division - Low Gross A, Lushney, Low Net A, Dick, runner- up Low Gross K, Mclvers "B" Division - Low Gross J. Megraw, Low Net J, Hall, runner -up Low Gross J. Gunther.
