PAGE 1% TERRACE BAY NEWS JUNE 21, 1978 Schreiber Parks and Recreation SCHREIBER KINSMEN - BIG TOP CIRCUS A Big Top Circus sponsored by Schreiber Kinsmen Club will be here on Thursday, June 22nd, 1978 at the High School grounds. There will be a performance at 6 and 8 p.m. The Kinsmen are selling advance tickets and the more you purchase the greater the percentage the club retains; sales will be available at the door, however, the amount to the Kinsmen is smaller. CALIFORNIA CUTIES BASEBALL: On July 7th the Schreiber Kinsmen will be the sponsors for some entertaining base- ball, when they play the California Cuties. All the action will be at the Schreiber Ball Field. SWIM LESSONS: Ladies and men learn-to-swim and Mom TN Tot programs are being offered throughout the day at White Sand Lake. At least six to eight adults need to register for each and eight Mon 'N Tots. Ages on the Mom 'N Tot will be a minimum of ome year up to k years of age. JULY 1st DANCE: The Schreiber Parks and Recreation Committee have planned a July 1st Dance to be held at the High School. MINOR BASEBALL: At this writing the Schreiber Minor Baseball League will have started the schedule in the respective divisions. Teams in the Superior division are the A's and Yankees, the Reds and Mets make up the Railway teams with the Bluejays in. the Atom division. This brings our total enrollment to 61 participants. There are not sufficient girls to make teams so we have mixed them with the boys, so that they can play. A Wintario grant has been applied for in order to purchase much needed equipment. CONFEDERATION COLLEGE PROGRAMS: The Schreiber Parks and Recreation Department and Confederation College are trying to compile: a list of interest programs for the fall of 1978 and winter of 1979.
