To help serve on his executive Bill selected the. people in the photo above from the two Tocal clubs of Terrace Bay and Schreiber. "oye ee District 2 includes all of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. It is the largest Kinsmen district in Canada in terms of land mass. |t stretches from Marathon in the east to the Saskatchewan border in the west and as far north as Lynn Lake. Within District 2 there are 65 Kinsmen clubs with over 2000 active Kinsmen and 1000 Kinettes. Bill and his executive will be responsible for co-ordinating the activities of these 65 clubs and to make them aware of all district and national programmes. The district itself is broken into 7 zones and a deputy-governor serves over each. 'The executive will be working very closely with these people. Besides heading the District 2 executive, Bill is automatically a member of the National Executive along with 7 other dis- trict governors. He will periodically be travelling to Saint John's Nfld. to meet with National President Len Simms and the other governors. : = This is the first time in the 50 year history of District 2 that an executive has come from a small town. The Kinsmen Clubs of Schreiber and Terrace Bay are extremely proud of this fact and are out to prove to the District that great things can come from small communities. :
