This matter has been fully in- vestigated and plans have been drawn to include an Arena, Cur- ling Rink, Bowling Alleys, Billiards Room, Library, Lounge, Snack Bar and Games and Meeting Rooms. |f Terrace Bay resid- ents wish to proceed with this venture it is going to require the help of the people of the community. : 20 YEARS AGO - MAY 22, 1958 The marriage of Rachel Claimont, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 'Claimont of Noranda, Quebec to Kent William Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Johnson of Savoff, Ontario was solemnized in a double ring ceremony Saturday morning at 10 o'clock by Father EA. Gallagher in St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church. Last Thursday, May 15 a bush fire started in the vicinity of Terrace Bay and due to 2 high wind spread rapidly in an easterly direction. Due to the quick action this fire was held by 6 p.m. that night and was under control by Friday noon.
