WEEKLY REPORT % UPCOMING SWIM INSTRUCTION COURSES: There will be a Leaders Course held in Marathon the weekends of May 27th and 28th and June 3rd and 4th. Candidates must be 15 years of age and should have their bronze medallion. = Inter ested persons please contact the Recreation Office immediately. Also, there is a Royal Life Instructors course scheduled to take place in Thunder Bay on the weekends of May 19th, 20th and 21st and May 26th, 27th and 28th. Applicants must be 17 years of age and over and have either Red Cross Water Safety Leaders award, Royal Life bronze medallion or Y.M.C.A. Advanced Life- saving Award, Anyone interested in taking this course should contact the Recreation Office right away. VETERINARY CLINIC: A onesday veterinary clinic, conducted by a vet from Sault Ste. Marie, is planned for the town of Terrace Bay in early June, if response warrants it. |f you have need of a vet, please contact the Recreation Office at 3542, Similar clinics are scheduled for Manitouwadge and Marathon during the same period and our clinic will serve both Terrace Bay and Schreiber Please indicate your interest by calling the Recreation Office. CHINESE COOKING: The Recreation Office is still accepting names for the Chin- ese Cooking course scheduled for May 29th, 30th, 31st and June 1st, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day. The fee will be $25.00 and Mr. Kim Lee of Thunder Bay will be the instructor. DISCO DANCING: To date, 12 persons have indicated interest in the disco dance class. In order to-operate this programme, we would like to have 20 participants. The age group we are looking for is teenagers and young adults.
