The name is "Youth Incorporated" - a captivating name with a group of ambitious youngsters standing behind it. A new group whose chief aim is to provide recreational activities for youth, A.disco dance!! Sound exciting? You bet! Plans were made for a disco to be held on March 17th but it was delayed be- cause of problems encountered for a location for the dance. Another attempt was made to hold the disco on April 3rd but it was delayed once again for the same reason. Youth Inc. is now awaiting an answer from a promising location. A footsieball tournament! Another event being sponsored by Youth Inc. Prizes and the thrill of competition will be pre- sent this weekend when this is being held in the Games Room of the Recreation Centre. A membership drive is in process. and includes such benefits as privileges-in the Games Room and cut rates on dances, etc. Plenty of ideas and they're pretty good! We need your sup- port to make Youth Incorporated and its ideas work. COMING EVENTS: Thursday, April 20th~ Terrace Bay-Schreiber Arts and Crafts Club meeting at Schreiber Public School Library - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25th - Horticultural Society spring meeting, 7:30 p.m. ~ large meeting room; Recreation Centre. Hay 13th ~ Annual Hospital Spring Batl. The fee is $5.00 per yean CONCERT ATTRACTIONS FOR 1978-79 SEASON The Overture Concert Committee would like to thank every= one who has supported our efforts to bring fine music to our communities this past year. With this in mind we have tried hard to provide another outstanding season for next year. Our entertainment series of three or four concerts will Teature a selection from the following programs offered to us a) "International" - a one-man marionette theatre - the most fascinating spectacle imaginable in puppetry. b) Fraser and Friends - the memorable sound of a new and unique jazz Canadiana...wafting across the Rockies from the west... fluid and full-bodied... Jazz as it should be. c) Premek & Gina - a traditional classical guitarist and Gina - Romantic Troubadours - singing in fourteen languages, cap- ture the meaning of young people in love throughout the cen- turies. d) The Perfect Mix -a dynamic company of Four in a blend of energetic singing, dancing and theatrical talent. e) Rassianke - a Russian ethnic dance Reoupe - modern - gypsy - twelve vibrant performers. Tickets will be on sale at the last concert beginning at 7 pem. and during intemission. Closing date for purchases will be May 6th. Prices are the same as last year. Through the generosity of many of our businesses we were able to offer tickets to many of our senior citizens and stu- dents this past season. These tickets were very much apprec- iated.
