HOSPITAL BUILDING FUND = A $1,400 PAT ON THE BACK: 3 z Our Pat-on-the-back for the beginning of April goes to Addie Beaulieu, In fact we're going t§ throw in a "Hug" as well, ; es Addie has been a familiar figure in the area this winter with her hockey pool boards. All the work involved, making up the boards, walking, what must have seemed like endless miles, and making prompt payments, from start to finish, has all been ¥) done by Addie. : ; = This was Addie's own personal project for the McCausland es Hospi tal Building Fund. On April 6th, 1978 Addie presented a cheque for $1,400 to the Building Fund. This cheque plus ; money Addie contributed to the Fund last year, will furnish = a single room in the new hospital. * We asked if we should call this the Maple Leaf Room! Addie, we thank you. oy LTE J 3)" Margaret Puttock Chai rman, Building Fund, - LETTER TO THE EDITOR: This'is to bring to the attention of dog owners in the ° vicinity of Pine Crescent, who allow their pets to run at large and thus are making their rounds on our front garden, which consists of pyramid cedars, shrubs and tulip bed. Garden- ing is a hobby with us, and we do not appreciate having other pets doing their business on our front garden or fenced in area, be it day or night time, as this has been going on for some time now. We appeal to them, please take your pet out on a leash, for its walk or keep it tied up, so that we may enjoy our hobby as ardent gardeners. Which helps to beautify our community and neighbourhood. Thank you for your kind attention. (signed) Ted and Stella Brown 9 Pine Crescent NORTH SHORE BRIDGE CLUB Bridge this week shows the following results: first - P.
