ARENA UPDATE -- At the time of this writing no decision has been made on a contractor for the new arena. The totals to date are: CASH $8,600.00; PLEDGES $23,000.00; PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS $7,205.00; on hand previously $4500.00; FOR A TOTAL OF $43,305.00. Letters have been written to several foundations, companies, groups soliciting their support. The Schreiber Kinsmen Club has pledged $5000. 00 over five years with the first $1000.00 coming in shortly. Buttons will be ordered for support of the arena, these will be on the streets in three or four weeks.
