PAGE 12 TERRACE BAY NEWS LAKEHEAD SCHOOL OF HOCKEY: From page 10.... Dave Siciliano is back for his sixth season. Three years ago coached Thunder Bay Twins to the Allan Cup and has coached in'Europe. He is currently head coach at Lakehead "U", Danny Walter and Larry Krawchuk are returning for their fifth season's. These.two college grads and current high school coaches know how to teach the game of hockey. Two popular in -structors re-joining the school are Ab Slivinski and Mike #. Tinker Mithrush. Slivinski is one of the most successful high school coaches in both hockey and football, sports he received scholarships in while at the University of North Dakota. Mithrush is a University of Minnesota at Duluth grad, has played hockey from peewee through the senior ranks and is a physical education teacher. Ken Cliften and Dave Fitzpatrick are members of L.U. Nor 'Westers, with both having two years experience at the school. Ken has also taught at two other hockey schools and puts the students through their paces. Dave is one of the top net- minders in the Great Plains Association. He drew praise from those he taught goaltending for the unique techniques used. lan MacRae a physical education grad from Queen's, joins the staff for the third year. This former junior star has been teaching high school hockey and knows all the aspects of the sport. Sam" Walter is one of the most respected men in the School. He directs the field program and the past four years has done a great job. The School offers three hours of ice time daily with the * same amount set aside for the field program, video-tape analysis, chalk talks and the use of instructional films.
