He is survived by his son Jim of Terrace Bay and daughters - Kathleen (Mrs. K. Fraser) and Mrs. Mary Inkster, both of Rorketon, Manitoba; five grand- children. He was predeceased by his wife Johan. Vibert, Administrator, that $500. of the original $1000. given. by the former Schreiber Chapter of Pinewood Court, could be earmarked to assist with the Auxiliary's Audio-visual project. [t appears to be within reach now and application will be made for assistance from a Wintario grant. < Final plans for the Carnival Tea to be held Saturday after- noon, March 4th from 2 to 4 in Birchwood Terrace Recreation Room were completed. Peggy Thompson will convene, assisted by Elsie Cooke and May Dorland. A floral centrepiece would be ordered and used as a draw prize. The plans for a Robby Burns party had been cancelled due to the closing of the Home during a recent flu outbreak. It was decided to forego the St. Patrick's Day tea also as it co- incided too closely with the monthly birthday party. More plans were discussed for the Games Night at Birchwood Terrace on April 6th. It would be a social evening rather than a money making venture and tickets sold at 25¢ to those outside the residence would be limited to staff, family and friends who would attend. Supervisor of Nursing Care, Leona Angus, requested a con- tinuance of the Volunteer service to handle residents needing assistance to go to Doctor and Dental appointments and to have Lab work done.
