Mr. Yates was a member of the Terrace Bay Legion and the Loyal Order of Moose. He is surviwed by his wife Alice; children - Jacqueline (Mrs. P. Sopel), Betty (Mrs. B. Oksanen) of Manitouwadge, Clarence of Prince George, B.C., Caroline and Charlene, both at home; brothers - Cyril of England, Arthur of Alexander, Ted of Brandon, Reg and Bert of Schreiber; sisters - Christina (Mrs. J. Morris) and Betty (Mrs. R. Baxter) both of Schreiber; mother - Tressia Spanton of Brandon; four grandchildren and also nieces and nephews. : : Resting at the King Funeral Home in 'Schreiber, the funeral services are to be held on Wednesday, January 25th at 2:00 p.m. from the 'Terrace Bay Community Church.
