- PAGE 12 TERRACE BAY NEWS JANUARY 25, 1978 8 TODAY'S CHILD BY HELEN ALLEN RTE THE TORONTO SUN sYNDICATE Aaron is a sturdy, busy two-year-old with blue eyes, brown hair and fair skin. He is Jewish by birth and it is hoped a Jewish home will be found for him. Born with Haemophilia, Aaron has to be watched carefully in case of injury. Haemophilia is an inherited blood disease which makes bleeding hard to control. It can be especially serious "when the bleeding is internal and can affect the joints. Happy, sunny-tempered, lovable Aaron welcomes attention but does not demand it. He is very active and talkative, speaking so far in single words. He appears bright and alert but there is a suggestion he may have learning disabilities later on. Aaron needs a mother and father who will not be so fearful of his condition that they will be over-protective. They should be able to help him towards as normal a life as possible while being ready to cope with the injuries that are bound to occur. To inquire about adopting Aaron, please write to Today's Child, Ministry of Community and Social Services, Box 888, Station K, Toronto M4P 2H2. In your letter tell something of your present family and your way of life. ; For general information about adoption contact your local Children's Aid Society. s NEEDS CARE John Deere Safety Savvy Douse smokes before checking fuel!
