There was great excitement in the bowling alleys on Thursday, January 5th as Howard bowled this great game. All the Legion bowlers present, cheered him on in the last three frames. Gerry com- mences his duties this week as Consultant for the Ministry of Culture and Recreation and * will be working out of Dryden. Gerry came to Terrace Bay on December 9th, 19692, and he and his family fast became popular residents of our community. Over the years of his service, many improvements and projects were instituted and spearheaded by him. He and his family will be sorely missed and we wish him well in his new and challenging position. In the meantime, it is hoped that our De-= partment will be able to provide the same ser= vices as in the past. For the time being, the hours of the Recreation office will be 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
