This unit is a 1978 Chevro- let and is painted and marked in such a way as to be easily recognized as a police emergency vehicle. ; The Chief of Police and members of the force would like to thank all the citizens of Terrace Bay for the fine co-operation shown us during the year 1977. : LECLAIR: . The funeral of the late Mr. Rene Leclair of Terrace Bay, age 63, who passed away on December 25th, was held on December 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin Roman Catholic Church. Interment was in Terrace Bay cemetery. Rene was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick]. and is survived by his wife Yvonne; daughters Rhea (Mrs. Arthur Beaulieu, Terrace Bay); Lillian of Thunder Bay; sons John of Terrace Bay and Gordon of Thunder Bay; and seven grandchildren; five brothers - Hubert, Alphonse, Gerald, Alonzo and Rolland all of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother - Donat and two sisters. Pallbearers were: Art Connors, Wally Shynkaryk, Joe Szpak, Alphonse Theriault, Joe Desaulniers and Jack Richardson. Honorary pallbearers were brothers of the Moose Lodge. This Company is a Toronto based Company 1 providing Free workshops throughout Northern Ontario. They will again be touring the North between January 20th - March 22nd to present the play WACOUSTA. They will be in Terrace Bay on March 13th.
