Their purpose was to donate a cheque to the hsopital: for the purchase of equipment to be used in the pediatrics department. Mr. Wes Miller presented the cheque. The equipment to be purchased is an I-Vac - an automatic intravenous machine. which can be regulated and is especially designed for the use of children as it has an alarm system should something yo wrong. The second piece of equipment is a Doptone ~ which monitors the fetal heart beat =- it can pick up the heart beat of 'a very young fetus when no other means are adequate. Prior to the presentation the Shriners put on a Parade with their moped bikes on Simcoe Plaza. We are most grateful for these pieces of equipment. Public Relations - McCausland Hospital.
