On August 15th, two Break and Enters were investigated - one at the Moose Lodge and the other at the Ontario Hydro tailrace. In both cases a 3" magnum shot gun was used to blow the lock off the door. A quantity of beer was stolen from the Moose Lodge and damage was com -mitted at the Ontario Hydro. Anyone having information about these matters are requested to contact the Terrace Bay Police and the mat- ter will be treated in the strictest confi- | dence. Police are continuing their investiga- tion into these two break and enters. On August 17th, two men were charged with causing a disturbance by fighting and will ap- pear in criminal court on August 25th. Also on August 17th, a residence in Terrace Bay was broken into and a juvenile is in custo -dy, charged with this offence. On August 18th, another residence was bro- ken into and a car belonging to Linda Pelto was stolen. The car was found at Jackfish and a juvenile has been charged with both offences On August 19th, a plate glass window was wilfully smashed at Moore's of Terrace Bay. Police are also continuing their investigation , into this matter. Police also laid the following charges - 2 break, enter and theft, 2 theft of auto, 1 fail to wear proper helmet on motorcycle, 1 fail to have an operator's licence, 1 charge of attempted theft, 3 offences under the Lig- uor Licence Act and 1 for failing to stop at a stop sign.
