Members from both Lodges and their families came out to participate in the events of the day 2s = For a change, the weather man co-operated, which helped make the day more enjoyable. George Tremblay of the Marathon Lodge was in charge of the sports programme. Races for children and adults, men's and ladies' tug of war and horse shoe tournaments were held. Some tried their skill at volleyball. Children played bingo and prizes were given for all events. The Women of the Moose were in charge of the hamburgers and the hot dogs. Marcel Tardif cooked many corn on the cob in a large kettle. All in all the Moose picnic was a big success and a good : time was had by all. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE MEETINGS: College of Regents chairman Alice Yates and her committee were in charge of the Chapter Night Programme in July. Lorraine Desaulniers was installed into the office of Recorder, Carmel Zborowski was installed as Membership Chairman and Aline Des- Chatelets was installed as Argus. Alice Yates was invested with a red stole and enrollment of one candidate took place. Star Recorder chairman Sadie Benko and her committee were in charge of the Chapter Night Programme in August.
