Meyer, following Benediction, presented 25 year membership pins to the following members of the Catholic Women's League - Simonne Con- nelly, Gloria Mullins, Lorette McParland, Ter- esa Power, Irene Moorey, Nora McGuire, Rita McGrath, Phyllis McParland, Rena Ross, Mona Holmes, Vienna McLellan, Liz Prescott, Valerie Bourke, Dodie Cosgrove, Claire Power, Retta Pearson, Mary Shack, Rita Scott, Anita Cook, Mary Fummerton, Winnie Campbell, Eunice Bolan, Dolores Spikula, Lietta Cataford, Edna Cocks, Simonne Singleton, Isabel Borutski, Bertah Winters, Bertha Paradis, Anne Needham, Cecile Wilson, Kay Furyk, Penny Caccamo, Bart Kusik, Elizabeth Perrault, Alice McCouan, Lucette Chicoine, Rose Dimmery and Peggy Small. Those unable to attend - Marg Godin, Ruth Spadoni, Mima Duggan, Freda Duggan, Emerald Paradis, Jeanna Commisso, Mrs. D. Costa, Yola Cebrario, Joan Guina, Helen LeBlanc and Marg Walsh will receive their pins later. To mark the occasion families of the mem- bers also attended the service. Following the ceremony the group went on tc the Parish Centre where a social evening was enjoyed. During the evening Lorette McParland, the president, on behalf of the League, presented a farewell gift to Lucette Chicoine, thanking her for her loyalty to the work of the League and wishing her happiness in her new home. Lunch was served with the tea table centred with a special cake decorated with the emblem of the League, made and donated by Gloria Mul- lins. The cake was cut by Lorette McParland, and Anne Needham, one of the earliest presi- dents, attending the party. Among those attending were the past presi- dents - Winnie Campbell, Edna Cocks, Cecile Wilson, Irene Moorey, Kay Stefurak, Nora Mc- Guire, Bart Kusik, Lucette Chicoine, Rita Mc- Grath, Mary Shack, Anne Needham and Lorette McParland, who is both past and present presi- dent.
