A selection of sandwiches and a large variety of delicious dainties were served. The luncheon was in honour of the seven young people who were re-~ cently confirmed. Rev. Brian Bigelow opened with a welcome to everyone, and led in the singing of Grace. The Hall was decorated in yellow and white; daffodils in bud vases were in the centre of each table. Each graduate of the confirmation class re- ceived a gift from the Church. The boys re- ceived a cross on a leather thong and the girls a pendant. > SOCIAL: At the Spring Convocation of Lakehead Uni- versity, Patrick Heenan, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Heenan of Terrace Bay, graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Physics). IN MEMORIAM: In loving memory of a dear son and brother, Vincent "Butch" Calder who passed-away June 19, 1971.
