GOLF TOURNAMENT: On Friday, June 3rd, Lake Superior High School and the Aguasabon Golf Club were hosts for the North Shore Secondary Schools Athletic Association's Spring Golf Tournament. At the end of the day Michipicoten High School re- turned to Wawa with the Costa Trophy as team champions. Second place went to perennial top place finishers Marathon High School. In ' COMING EVENTS: Every Tuesday morning -- A morning out for women of all faiths - 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the basement. of the Community Church. Enjoy a cup of coffee while sharing ideas on crafts, cooking, etc. A play area is provided for children. Thursday, June 9th - Women's Softball - 6:15 sharp at High School ball field. Sunday, June 12th - Diving Club meeting, 7:00 p.m., Conference Room, Recreation Centre. All interested persons are invited. third place was Lake Superior High School. Rounding out the six team tournament were: Geraldton, Manitouwadge, and Nipigon-Red Rock. The Lake Superior team was led by John Corrigan, Peter Dashkewytch, Joey Campbell, David Sadowick and Paul Gerlach. In helping to make the day and the tourna- ment a success special thanks must go to Mr. Howard Solly and the members of the Aguasabon Golf Club for having the course in such good shape. Many favourable comments were heard about it. And also from the team members and coaches a big thank-you to Mrs. R. Cornfield, for her efforts in the clubhouse. Thanks also to the weather man (woman??).
