PAGE 8Y TERRACE BAY NEWS POLICE REPORT 9 - 15 MAY 1977 This past week police have been busy having investigated thirty-seven occurrences. A local resident reported to police that his CB radio and antenna had been stolen. Police are also investigating a theft of a grinding unit and electrical tools from the expansion site. : One male person was arrested on a warrant held by Niagara Regional Police and was taken to the District Jail for an escort to arrive from St.:Catharines. This past week, officers on patrol arrested one 'impaired driver. Five* persons have been charged with various offences under the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario and one speeder was charged as he motored through town at 60 miles per hour. Police were also called upon to attend a disturbance and two persons have been charged with causing a disturbance by fighting. One report of wilful damage has been reported when rocks were thrown through a window at Camerons Texaco. National Police Week has been proclaimed as May 15th to 21st. As our police office is presently undergoing extensive renovations, we will be unable to conduct guided tours during police week. It is hoped that we will be able to have a police week display for the general public in the very near future.
