I3 MARCH 30, I977 20¢ PER COPY HOSPITAL NOTES) BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS This meeting was held in the Administration Office - Birchwood Terrace - Terrace Bay. Nine members were present. The Minutes (with corrections) of the February meeting were accepted as circulated. Membership (cards) in the Corporation were on sale in the Administration Office until . March I8th or by mail - post marked March I9th. This was for the convenience of those who had not received their Memberships through the mail by donating ($5.00 or more) to the hospital Building Fund. Please note that membership in the Hospital Auxiliary is NOT the |. same as membership in the Corporation, and does not entitle you to attend the Annual Meet- ing. They are NOT the same. So far the Board does not have a representative from the Township of Terrace Bay. We hope everyone read the article by Mr. Jack Stokes in last week's paper. A new ramp will be built at the front - west door of the hospital to facilitate the entrance of the ambulance stretcher. Safety glass will also be replaced-=in the presse door windows. Mrs. Roberts, from the Fire Safety and Disaster Unit of the Ministry of Health will visit to discuss disaster drill procedures. Accounts Payable, plus Net Payroll for the month of January, totalling $29, 920s. 76 were accepted for payment. A letter from the Arthritis Society has been received - asking that we form a Branch in this area. The initial meeting will be held in the Administrator's office (Birchwood Terrace - downstairs) on Thursday, March 3Ist, I977 at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Mauri Vallee will have films and following this will lead a discussion of "How to Campaign" and the "Aim of the Arthritis Society". Everyone is invited - not just those who suffer from arthritis but those who are interested. MEMO The McCausland Hospital's Annual Meeting for Members of the Corporation is Tuesday, April I9th, 977 - 8 p.m. - Schreiber High School. Please plan to attend.
