Three notes of appreciation were received and flowers sent to a member sick in Hospital - Mrs. John Morris. Mrs. Eunice Bolan read a paper on the in- terests and activities of the Institute last year as her Public Relations report. She also read a short peom "Women's Work is Never Done" and Mrs. Winnie Clemens read an article entitled "New Year's Recipe". The New Year Baby party was planned for February 8th when the Reeve or representative will present the town's silver cup. Members are asked to bring baby gifts and donations of gifts will be appreciated from local mer- chants. A bake sale will be held with a delicates- sen counter in February. Members are asked to contribute to. this event. g The $25.00 draw prize was won by Alison Riley, and the lucky chair prize by Mrs. Annie Niemi.
