DECEMBER 1, 1976 . TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 3 p - ) CANDIDATES FOR REEVE: Cont'd from pg. 1 .. When asked what changes he found memorable during his sojourn in Terrace Bay he cited the development of Terrace Heights, a Kimberly -Clark project in co-operation with the Town Council. In just over a year the Trailer Sub- division has grown from twenty-four to eighty- five trailers. During the next few years in Terrace Bay Cy would like to see the building of a new hospital, the enlargement of the Commercial District and perhaps an extension of the bus- iness area east of Highway 17. While Cy has worked on the Recreation Com- mittee the Town Council has updated the Ice Plant, installed new speakers and, a new turn- table. The major expense of this work was paid for with Wintario Grants. Of a total $17,000 bill the Town Council only paid $3200, as its share. Councillor Brassard has also seen the up- grading of the Police Department from two mem- bers to the present number of three Constables and the Police Chief. Another of Councillor Brassard's aims is the enlargement of the Police Department area itself.
