Reeve McParland spoke on local matters, the need for assistance in providing more homes in Schreiber, and for a new arena - in this latt- er instance a committee is already formed and working for funds. * The project for a Senior Citizens Home complex in the centre of the town has already been studied and it is hoped work on this will begin next summer. : Mr. Allen said interest in the Legion is not going down, as shown by the five thousand and twenty-six registered delegates attending the 50th Anniversary Convention, the 7,600 at the dinner requiring 400 waitresses. Re- gardless of the Government in power, Legion delegations have always been courteously re- ceived.
