On November 20th, a Toronto resident was charged with switching licence plates and hav- ing no insurance for an automobile. Later the same evening two local residents were charg ~ --ed with liquor infractions. On November 21st, police delivered one com- passionate message and issued one parking tag. On November 23rd, police were called to in- vestigate a MVC that occurred in the parking lot of the Red Dog Inn. Later the same evening police were called to investigate a MVC fail to remain that occurred at the intersection of Highway 17 and the Red Dog Inn. On the morning of November 25th, Sheila's Coffee Shop reported a break, enter and theft. Police investigation has resulted in all proper- .ty being recovered and a local resident being charged with this offence. Police also inves- tigated two motor vehicle collisions and a re- ported assault that occurred at the Red Dog Inn. November 26th saw police issue welfare to one stranded person, investigate one offence of theft under $200. and removed a intoxicated per -son from a local business establishment: November 27th saw police investigate one oc- currence under the HTA, one under the LIA and one local resident was charged with impaired driving. COURT NEWS: Thursday, November 25th - Leonard Billows was found guilty of posses- sion of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and fined $350.00.
