Accounts approved for payment were: Township - $85,100.22; Hydro - $22,096.34; Library - $1,900.92; Recreation - $14,095.77. 'A resolution to dismiss O. Monkman as 1 Maintenance Caretaker at the Recreation Cen- tre was passed. Tim Pogue was appointed to the position of Vending Assistant. Two Hydro accounts were written off as uncollectable. TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT During the week of November 7th to l4th.a _ total of thirty-eight occurrences were inves- tigated by the Terrace Bay Police. On November 7th Police attended two dis- turbances at a local business establishment which resulted in parties leaving to return to the Construction camp. ) On November 8th Police investigated one Fail to remain at the scene of an accident, is- sued two parking tickets, one charge of speed- ing and one charge of failing to stop at a stop sign were laid. November 9th saw oné incident of Wilful Da- mage reported, investigation into this offence "by Police has resulted in restitution being made. November 10th saw two charges of disobeying a stop sign being laid. Late in the evening a local business reported the theft of gasoline. Investigation resulted in a British Columbia resident being charged for this offence. On November llth a local resident was charg -ed with possission of marijuana while another was charged with a LLA infraction. Police at- tended and resolved a family dispute within the townsite later that night. Police also investigated a MVC that occurred on Simcoe Plaza. : ~ November 12th saw Police investigate a Motor Vehicle Collision that occurred on Simcoe Pla- za. As a result of routine motor vehicle check a total' of four Terrace Bay men were charged with Liquor Licence Act infractions. On November 13th Police investigated two incidents of wilfull damage and one MVC on Simcoe Plaza. November 14th saw three LLA infractions, two speeding charges and one fraud investiga- tion.
