PAGE 16 TERRACE BAY NEWS SEPTEMBER 22, 1976 SPEZIALE - VENEZIANO VOWS EXCHANGED Pink and white carnations adorned the altar in Holy Angel's Roman Catholic Church on May 22nd for the wedding of Maria Veneziano, dau- ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veneziano of Schreiber and Theodore Speziale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Speziale also of Schreiber. The double ring ceremony was solemnized by Rev. F. Meyer. Miss Brenda Cebrario was organ- ist and Giovanni Cebrario soloist. The Bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a beautiful satin and organza dress made by her mother. The dress had an empire waist and a full skirt leading to a chapel length train. The fitted bodice featured a sheer yoke highlighted with lace flowers and pearls. More of the same accented the slim sheer sleeves and brushed the bottom of the flowing skirt. Her chapel length veil was held by a cluster of lace flowers and pearls. She car- ried a cascade of peach roses with daises and babys breath. The Bride had four attendants: Maid of Honour, Miss Rosann Speziale (cousin of the Bride); bridesmaids Miss Adriana Veneziano (sister of the Bride), Miss Sylvia Speziale (cousin of the Bride) and flower girl, Miss Jacqueline Labarrt (neice of the groom). Bridesmaids and flower girl were all gowned alike in floor length dresses of baby blue poly -ester interlock made by the Brides mother. The halter dresses were accented with a floral blue and white jacket. They wore white pic- ture hats and carried bouquets of white dai- sies, peach roses and babys breath. Butch Speziale (brother of the Groom) was best man with Frank Figliomeni and Don Speziale (cousins of the Groom) as groomsmen. The ring (nephews of the Groom). Guests were ushered into the church by Mario Veneziano and Tony Costa. For the reception in the Schreiber High School the Bride's mother and Groom's mother wore identical dresses in a soft peach' colour for the Bride's mother and a mint green for the Groom's mother. The long sleeve gowns were gathered at the empire waist to form a very full skirt and were accented with pearls. Both mothers carried a matching shawl. Mrs. Freda Duggan was dining room hostess, the toast to the Bride was proposed by Joe Speziale and to the bridesmaids by Butch Spe- ziale. The M.C. for the evening was Mr. Tony' Speziale. For their wedding trip to Florida the Bride and Groom chose matching gray suits. The Bride's had black accessories and both wore corsages of red carnations. Among the guests from out of town attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. G. Speck and family, Bruce Mines; Mr. and Mrs. F. Labarre and family, Mary Speziale, Winnipeg; Mr. and Mrs. F. Diano, Mr. G. Aiuto, Tony Aiuto, Cal- gary; Mr. and Mrs. L. Sgarbossa and family, Mrs. C. Serrao,. Tony Serrao, Mr. and Mrs. M. Buragina, Mr. and Mrs. John Speziale and fam- ily, Mr. and Mrs. C. Figliomeni and family, Thunder Bay; Mr. and Mrs. T. Jodouin, Sturgeon Falls; Mrs. G. Levac and family, Mr. and Mrs. D. Proux, Val Caron; Mr. Ken Borutski, Elliott Lake; Mr. and Mrs. G. Spirito, Newmarket ; and Me. J. CGallea, Hamilton.
