OLYMPICS A daily vacation Bible School sponsored by the Gospel Assembly of Terrace Bay was off to an enthusiastic start Wednesday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m. Held at the Public School Gym, in Terrace Bay, 109 youngsters showed up open- ing night to start off the activities. "This year's theme was Olympics, with an emphasis on the Christian race", explained Sandra Laybourne, one of the organizers. Activities included puppet plays, games, skits, songs and races. ; The group met Wednesday through Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a particularly high &ttendance Thursday evening of 121 participants. Saturday afternoon a hot dog barbecue was held at the Terrace Bay beach and Sunday morn-~ ing the activities came to an end with a closing ceremony. Sara Lee Speer won first prize for bringing the most guests to the School. Throughout the programme Jocelyn Doste of Schreiber accompanied the festivities on his guitar. David has transferred from the Kapuskasing Kimberly-Clark Mill to the Engin- eering Dept., of the local Mill. Jennifer Lee, their only daughter has just celebrated her fourth birthday.
