LEGION NEWS Remembrance Day service will be observed in Terrace Bay on Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cenotaph. All Legionaires are urged to attend. The dinner and dance will follow in the ev- ening. Tickets are now on sale at the Legion for all members. come first served basis as we are limited to the number of people we can accomodate for a dinner. Music will be by the Party Sound. We are asking all members to help out at the Legion Bingos. Help the Legion out when you are called, remember if everyone takes a turn you will be called once a year. RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT ART CLUB NEWS: Regular session will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Recreation Centre. A constructive lesson dealing with landscape drawing and pa- inting will be presented. Everyone welcome. MINOR HOCKEY SKATE EXCHANGE: This skate exchange will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 28th and 29th, in the conference Room of the Recreation Centre. skates and equipment to be sold will be accep--- ted on October 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There is a non-returnable handling fee of .25¢ per item. A complaint of assault causing bodily harm was reported and was later resolved between the parties concerned without further police action. : : The theft of a truck which was later inveol- ved in an accident was investigated with the possibility of charges being laid.
