TO LEGION #223 MEETING The general meeting of The Ladies Auxilia- ry to the Legion Branch #223 was held on Mon- day, September 29th after the summer recess. Vice President J. Gunter chaired the meet- ing with President D. Koski being away on hol- idays. Minutes of the June meeting were read fol- lowed by the minutes of the Executive meeting. The treasurer gave the financial report. The date for the birthday party is October 18th with invitations sent to outside auxiliaries. Rosemary Thorpe will be in charge of the Poppy day Sale. Dates for the Poppy Day Tea and the Armistice Dinner were decided upon. A motion was passed to purchase four kitch --en stools for the kitchen. The next general meeting will be on Monday, October 27th.
