PAGE I2 TERRACE BAY NEWS JULY 30, 1975 | IMBEAULT: The funeral of Nicole Jacqueline, five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Imbeault of Schreiber, whose death occurred following a lingering illness on July 17, was conducted on July I9, in Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church by Rev. Father Moore. The pall bearers were Bobby Campbell, Michael MacDonald, Romeo Imbeault and Laurie Imbeault. ; Interment was in Schreiber cemetery. The little girl's immediate survivors are her parent's, two brothers Michael and Robert, at home and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Antoine Imbeault of Thunder Bay. Among those attending the funeral, from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Antoine Imbeault Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Imbeault, Mrs. Ernest Turpin, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Deschenes of Thunder Bay; Mr. Laurie Imbeault of Brandon; Mrs. Euclid Morin of Chapleau. HOWARD: The funeral of the late H.H. (Barlow) Howard, whose death occurred in Chapleau on July I4, was conducted in Schreiber on July I8th by the Rev. George Quibell of Thunder Bay in St. John's Anglican Church. Interment was in Schreiber cemetery. The Honourary pall bearers were W.T. Wallace, George Birch, Joseph Campbell, Harry Shack, Tom Bolan and Jack McCouan. Active bearers were Frank McKenna, Paul Pelto, R.W. Turner, George Lengyel, Borden Ross and Leonard Hiller. .The I.0.0.F. of which Mr. Howard was a mem- ber held their burial rites in the Joe King Funeral Home prior to the church service. Mr. Howard's immediate survivors are .his wife, the former Winnie Cote, one daughter, Yvette (Mrs. Ronald Morris) of Brandon; three grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Vina Gold- stein of Sudbury, Mrs. Nellie Goheen of North Bay and Mrs. Pat Mitchell of Chapleau. Mr. Howard aged 69, was a native of Chap- leau and began his service with the C.P.R. there as a telegrapher, transferred to Schrei- ber in I942 and retiring here in I970 as train despatcher. Mr. Howard, always called 'Barlow' was a quiet man, not a 'joiner' but dearly enjoying the daily 'give-and-take' between his fellow despatchers and the men on the road whose trains he was moving and in his retirement, maintained his association with them. Mrs. Norman McCuaig is visiting Mr. and Mrs David McKay, her daughter Jeane, in Sioux Lookout and will go on to visit her brother D'Arcy Turner and his family in Big River, Sask. ; Mrs. Russell Cameron of Thunder Bay is visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Smith- eman and phone-visiting with old school friends in town. The welkin is ringing on Main St. in Schrei -ber where the family of Austin and Dodie Cosgrove are enjoying a reunion, with neigh- bours and old friends enjoying the party too. Mike Cosgrove and Colleen (Mrs. Paul Gauthier) live in town and coming from other places are Mr. and Mrs. Edward McGregor (Mantell) and three children from Gogami; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Cosgrove with two of their family of Dryden; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sylven (Mary) with four : children from Calgary; Guerard Cosgrove of Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. John Cosgrove of Thunder Bay and Mr. and Mrs. Don Cosgrove and family expected from Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Cosgrove of Winnipeg are unable to attend due to prior committments and Sister Anna Cosgrove taking a special teaching course in Toronto, i was here earlier. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Riley, while nearing grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Riley Sr. were involved in an accident which left their car a complete write-off. Mr. Riley was stun- ned when the car toppled into an eight foot ditch but fortunately after spending a night in hospital due to head injury was released the next day. Happily their little son, Darr- en and baby daughter Ashley in her mothers arms, were not injured.
