PAGE 14 GUIDE & BROWNIE ASSOC. RECESS FOR SUMMER The last monthly meeting of the season of the Local Association fo Guides and Brownies was held on May 26th in the Community Church basement with only 7 ladies present. Chairman C. Cvitkovich opened the meeting with the Guide Prayer. Mothers were asked to help with "Fly Up" to be held June 3rd. Brownie and Guide leaders and a chairman for the L.A. are desperately needed for the re-opening of Guides and Brownies in the fall. Mrs. R. McBride reported that "Cookie Day" was a success. Thank-you to Reata and her helpers, to the Brownies and Guides who delivered, and all who purchased the cookies. ~~ C. Cvitkovich reported that she held a very succ- essful training session in Marathon. The meeting was adjourned with the hope that more mothers and interested ladies will come out and support the Local Association in the fall.
