Under new business the Kinsmen Club of Terrace Bay will be contacted with regards to the Canada Day program. / The draft agreement for a Cost Of Living Agreement for full time employees was present- ed by Mrs. Helmifdk. The third and final reading of By-Law 263A re remuneration for Council and Reeve was passed. Councillor Kennedy requested the by-law be prepared of all changes in signing around town now that the signs have arrived. He also stated the fire department will be 'look- ing into the purchase of a van. Councillor Helmink reported she had been in contact with Birchwood Terrace and a pro- gram similar to last year for Senior Citizens week will be planned inviting all senior citizens to partake. Councillor Brassard asked if the cleaning up of the Lake Superior Beach at the golf course could be looked into. A motion was presented by Councillor Hale that George Burns be hired at the Recreation Centre. This was passed. Reeve Bray discussed with Councillor Hale the condition of the grass and shubbery at the Recreation Centre. Work on this area will be planned.
