Chairmen were appointed to the various com- mittees and plans for the coming year were dis- cussed. Mrs. Diane McKenzie is Membership Chairman and memberships are available from her or any executive member. Hyacinthe Landry and Art Beaulieu will hand- le the chores involved in staging the Annual Show in August. Terry Dorland will be looking after public planting. George Birch and Mrs. Marlene Doig are rep- resenting Schreiber. Rudy Gerlach will be handling the Junior Gardeners programs again. John Steen will once again handle the fertil -izer business. Fertilizer shortages make it necessary to get our order placed by the end of January. Increased prices and the financial condition of the society make it impossible to stock-pile supplies so gardeners are advised to place orders now - phone 3561. Mrs. Mary Husband accepted the job of pro- gram chairman. The new secretary is Mrs. Marg Roberts.
