The Terrace Bay Youth Group requested a mee- ting with Trustees concerning Board policy on use of School Facilities. The McCausland Hospital Administration has requested consideration by the Board to an em~ ployee payroll deduction plan for donatiéns to the hospital building fund. A response will follow a feasibility study. The next "Let's Talk Education" Session will occur at Lake Superior High School, Terrace Bay Campus, at 6:00 p.m., on February IIth, at which time special guests will be the Regional Director of Education and Superintendents of Curriculum, Supervisory Services, and Finance. The Board will present a replica of the gavel as a memento to the retiring Chairmen retroactive to I969. The Board accepted with regret the resigna- tion of Mrs. Emma Molinski, Library Technician, Lake Superior Public School, effective December] 3I, I974, the acceptance of resignation of Mr. William Springer from position of responsibil- ity, effective December 3I, I974 and the term- ination of contract by mutual consent of Mr. Willard Robitaille, Oral French Teacher, Lake Superior Public School, effective December 3I, 1974. The Board will continue to observe and en- force the Acts and Regulations pertaining to Religious Education in the schools. . The next regular meeting of the Board will be held January 25, I975, at the Marathon High School at I0 a.m. TERRACE BAY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT WINTER CARNIVAL - OPEN MEETING TONIGHT: A reminder to the general public that an open Winter Carnival planning meeting will be held tonight, Wednesday, January 8th, at 6:30 p-m. in the Conference Room of the Recreation Centre. It is important that as many people as possible make an attempt to attend this meeting. JUNIOR BADMINTON PROGRAMME RESUMES: Junior Badminton sessions are now being held on each Saturday morning at the Terrace Bay High School. SPECIAL COURSES TO BE OFFERED: Plans are in the making to have an upholst-. ery course, ceramics course and cross-country skiing held in Terrace Bay.
