HOSPITAL BOARD MEETING The McCausland Hospital Board of Governors held a regular meeting on October I5, I974 in the Terrace Bay Municipal Office. Jan McEwen reported on the visit to Wilson Memorial Hospital by the Development Committee Study Group. Rena McAdam read letters to Jack Stokes, MLA and Keith Penner, MP inform- ing them of our progress to date in planning of the new hospital. A letter to Department of Indian Affairs regarding the possibility of capital grants was also read. The Develop- ment Committee is meeting weekly in order to prepare a Functional Program for the new hos- pital. : Bernie McCracken advised the Board that a Fund Raising Advisory Committee will be formed shortly to assist the Finance Committee, sport lotteries, new car raffles and other methods are being reviewed to raise funds. Joan Nugent announced that letters have gone out to all community organizations and in vitations to attend their meetings are begin- ning to come in.
