PAGE 20 TERRACE BAY NEWS OCTOBER 9,I974 RILEY-PARADIS VOWS EXCHANGED Coral and white gladioli adorned the altar of Holy Angels Church, Schreiber, Margaret Paradis, daughter of Mr. T. Paradis and Dale Edward Riley, and Mrs. Geo. Riley (Jr.), all of Schreiber, exchanged wedding vows at 7 p.m., August 30th, 1974 in a double ring ceremony with Rev. Father F. Meyer officiating. The bride who was escorted to the alter by her parents, as was the groom by his parents, was gowned in white embossed gown featuring a high neckline edged with lace long sleeves,' bib shape insert of sheer edged in lace on the bodice, and cummerbund to match. A floral headpiece held her tiered veil trimmed to mat- ch the lace on the dress. She carried coral and yellow roses with ivy trailing. Maid of honour, Laureen Kusik, cousin of the bride and bridesmaid, Janice Paradis, sis- ter of the bride were gowned alike in coral polyester pallazzo pant suits featuring waist length jackets, long full sleeves gathered with buttoned cuffs. With this they wore white pic- ture hats with coral ribbon threaded through the crown and streamers falling from the back of the brim. They carried bouquets of coral when Jewel and Mrs. Wm. son of Mr. and yellow roses and ivy trailing. The bride's gown and bridesmaids outfits were all made by Mrs. E. Bourgeois of Schreiber. : Prior to her wedding, the bride was hon- oured at a community shower in the United Church Hall and at a tupperware party at the home of Mrs. Dale Riley. The groom was hon- oured at a stag held in the Town Hall. The groom's parents held a rehearsal party prior to the wedding. Out of town guests included: Mrs. Doroth- ea Plummer, Mrs. Shirley Young, Sandra Young, Scarboro; Sharon Riley, Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. Don Rosie, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kusik, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gordon, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Paradis, Jane Bailey, Butch Speziale, Mrs. Annie West, Thunder Bay; Mrs. Herb Riley, White River; Mr. and Mrs. James Mikus, Mr. and Mrs. John Mikus, Mr. and Mrs. Len Crockford, Terrace Bay. The new couple now reside at I35 Drummond St., Schreiber, Ontario.
