AUGUST 8, I974 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 7 LADIES GOLF NEWS Our ladies open invitational was held last Sunday with the weatherman really cooperating, no fog, all sunshine and few black fly bites for the ladies to take home as momentos. Al- though our entry was not as large as in the past, the girls were most enthusiastic and who else should lead the way but Ann Lushney with low gross. Congratulations Ann. Rita Traer was runner-up, J. Rattray had low net with M. Phillips runner-up. P. Jones low gross, first nine holes, I. Koski low net first nine holes. Karen Saaramaki low gross second nine holes, P. Wellings low net second nine holes. Kay McIvor guessed her score and Diana Zulianillo was the most improved golfer. The days golfing was followed by a lovely luncheon put on by the ladies of our club. Jim Clancy was winner of the fifty dollar bond. Many thanks to Clarence Buck and Dave Gunter for the helping hand. The last round for club championship was completed last Tuesday with the honours going to Wee Julie, again. Congratulations Julie. Peg Wellings was runner-up. J. Gunter took low net with J.
