PAGE 4 TERRACE BAY NEWS AUGUST 8, 1974 MALLAIS-CAMPBELL VOWS EXCHANGED Wedding vows were exchanged between Lenore Campbell and Robert Mallais in St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church on July 27th, at 5 p.m. Father A. Greengrass officiated at the wedd-| ing Mass. Lenore Campbell, a former Schreiber resident] and lately living in Hearst, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Campbell of Mississau- ga. Robert Mallais of Prince George, B.C. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Mallais of 'Terrace Bay. Shasta daisies adorned the Altar and Mrs. Wendy Martin was _ the organist and Mrs. Eva Gordon the soloist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was gowned in a floor length model of white Dotted Swiss, with Mandarin Collar, long puff- ed sleeves, shirred bodice front and back, and a tie belt at the Empire waistline. Her Juliet Cap held a four tier bouffant veil. Her bou- quet was fashioned of Spring flowers. Mrs. Judi Stuart was Matron of Honour and Miss Maureen Campbell (the bride's sister) was bridesmaid. They wore identical gowns of yell- ow dotted Swiss, with Mandarin Collars, short puffed sleeves, a belt tying at the back over the Empire waist and the neckline and sleeves outlined with tiny white daisies with yellow centres. With this they wore white floppy brim hats with daisy trim and carried white baskets of Shasta daisies. The Best Man was Mr. Dwayne Thompson of Prince George, B.C. Ushers were Ron Stuart and David Mallais (brother of the groom). For a reception held at the Legion Hall in Terrace Bay the bride's mother received wear- ing a pink flowered chiffon halter gown with matching wrap and a white carnation wrist cor- sage. The groom's mother also received wear- ing a blue flowered chiffon gown, with long sleeves, and a blue ribbon corsage. The toast to the bride was given by her un- cle, Mr. Bob Campbell. Mrs. Freda Duggan was in charge of cutting the cake and the Bride and Groom passed it to the guests. Mrs. Dot Coupal and Mrs. Ethel Boyd conven- ed the wedding dinner, assisted by ladies of the Auxiliary. The bride's table held a Shasta daisy cen- terpiece and the three tiered wedding cake, decorated with yellow roses. For a wedding trip to B.C. the bride donned a Dusty Rose pant suit with matching blouse and a pink corsage. Out of town guests included Mrs. Betty Miller and daughters Glenda and Darlene of New Zealand, Mr. and Mrs. W. Weaver, Kamloops, B.C.; Mr. Tom Mills, Larry Sitko, Charles Daley, all of Prince George, B.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Len Andrews, Mississauga, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Leger, Hearst; Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Thompson, Prince George and Miss Darlene Mall- ais, also of Prince George. Mr. and Mrs. R. Mallais will reside at 2066 Queensway, Prince George, B.C.
